Have you got art? If not - and even if you do - get your springtime dose at Appalachian State University's (ASU) Turchin Center for the Visual Arts' Spring Exhibition reception, sponsored by
Cheap Joe's and held in conjunction with the Downtown Boone Art Crawl.
"Cheap Joe's support of the Spring Exhibition Celebration is the latest example in a long history of support for the arts in the High Country, and their participation with this event was spurred by their long-time association with and support of the National Watercolor Society," said Hank Foreman, director and chief curator of the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts. "Cheap Joe's and its founder Joe Miller have contributed greatly to ensure the important tradition of water media painting continues to thrive, and that artists embrace their own creativity and individuality when working with water media."
The event is free and open to the public. Dress to kill, dress to thrill, or dress to chill! A shuttle will be available from the Broyhill Inn and Conference Center beginning at 6:45pm and ending at 9:15pm.
This event is presented as part of the Receptions program.
