Plein Air Boone

June 29 - July 3, 2009

Community Art School Studio Classroom - Arnold P. Rosen Family Education Wing

Facilitator: Tricia Spencer

Participants will be introduced to the rich, textural landscape and magical quality of light that flows through the unique landscape in and around Boone. Come celebrate Painting Plein Air in the magic light and beauty of Boone, NC. The fundamental goals of this course are to allow students the opportunity to create expressive paintings working outside in a wonderful location. Students will be able to work in their chosen medium which best expresses their own creative artistic voice. Containers for drinking water, good hat for sun, sunscreen, and some form of bug repellent are good to have on hand while painting Plein Air.

This event is presented as part of the Programs for Teens and Adults program.

Cost:

$125 for TCVA members

$150 for non-members

Minimum enrollment of ten (10).
