Learn to express yourself through hand building with clay! Students will engage in the making of functional and artistic clay pieces while developing their fine motor skills. They will be guided in step-by-step instruction and hands on demonstrations how to create creatures, bowls, wall hangings, wind chimes and much more.
Students will also learn about ceramic artists and other fine art techniques to inspire their creations. This workshop will further develop a student's interest in expression and enhance their talents in the art of hand building.
This event is presented as part of the Workshops for Kids program.
